I was raised as a scientist to follow in my famous grandfather's footsteps, but worked in software, and in 2011 fell in love with machine learning (ML). I spent six years at Amazon building world-class ML infrastructure like Amazon SageMaker, and also inspiring, guiding, and personally building applied ML projects that made obscene quantities of money for the company.
